The Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater Ref 3974 was released in 1989 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the brand. Considered by many to be a grail watch, the 3974 is pure Patek with a classic perpetual calendar dial layout and a perfectly proportioned 36mm case. To add to the already complicated perpetual calendar, this watch is also a minute repeater, adding to the complexity and impressive engineering. The case was made by one of the most important case makers in history and master case maker for Patek, Jean-Pierre Hagmann. The watch bears a JHP hallmark on one lug. This example is in fantastic original condition with little wear and no notable signs of wear. The hallmarks are deep and clear on each of the four lugs.
